I FIORI DELL'ETNA

Who We Are

From 1955

For three generations, the Frasson family has cultivated oranges with love and passion. From his grandfather Luigi, who came to Sicily from Veneto to cultivate the land with love and passion, but always with an eye to innovation and the future.

GLOBAL G.A.P. e I.G.P.

For the cultivation of our citrus fruit we follow the protocol GLOBAL G.A.P. (Good Agricultural Practice) and I.G.P. that ensure the quality of the product and the preservation of the environment. We use reusable cardboard boxes to support the environment and the world for a better future.

Sicilian citrus fruit

Years and years of work and experience have taught us how important the care, the mecolosità and the respect of the times of maturation of our products. Quality always comes first.

The production is located at the foot of Etna, characterized by a high temperature range between day and night, gives our citrus fruits a unique taste and appearance: the red pigmentation of the orange is given by this particular microclimate as attested by the IGP mark.

We produce 14 varieties of oranges, with different ripening times able to guarantee a production from December to May and two varieties of lemons. About three thousand tons are harvested every year.

Together with the agronomist Lorenzo Frasson we take care of and respect the environment with sustainable cultivation techniques, from irrigation systems to reduce water waste, to cutting-edge phytosanitary treatments. Our agricultural machinery is subject to software updates and replacement with new models.
